Up until yesterday's news, I was actually rooting for A-Rod to beat Bonds in HRs as Bonds (in my mind) embodied everything wrong with baseball, and A-Rod at the time was everything I thought was right (in terms of not juicing, playing the game the way it should be, etc).

I guess I can throw all of that out the window now.

The next player in line in terms of playing the game right, the face of baseball - clean, and the good guy in my mind is Ken Griffey Jr.

Speaking of the juice, no one ever mentions Iron Man, Cal Ripken, Jr as a likely steroid user. I'm now thinking he was juicing as most likely Mike Piazza was as well ;(

I was a pretty big Piazza fan too :(

The craziest thing about all of this is that Jose Canseco - total slimebag + shady grease-ball seems to be the only one who is reliable and actually telling the truth!
