The Yankees in a downward spiral
Well Well Well.

How about those Yanks? The 200 million dollar Yankees off to a 10-15 start.
Laughable. I LOVE IT!!!

Funny that Robinson Cano is their solution at 2B, when they spent all that money getting Womack in free agency. Classic. Tino will be the starting 1B, and Bernie Williams is benched.

What's the next team that will bring a much needed championship and joy to their community by trampling on the Yanks? After the Dbacks, Angels, and Marlins, I can only guess.

The Yanks must learn that fielding a team with a bunch of graybeards year after year does not hold for a promising future. As of right now, they have NO future. They're loaded with a crew, most of which are over the hill. Notice when the Yankees take the field virtually every one is over 30. No farm = no future.

The Yankees will be a team in Limbo for some time to come. The Unit got an extra two years extension as a condition for coming over from AZ. This will make him what... ? 42-years old and with a bad back to boot?

Also, they are now stuck with Giambi and are desperate to find a loophole to get rid of that remaining $80 or so million.

Bernie still has some sock left in him, look what he did last season. This is the Yankess reacting to every difficult situation there is with convenient solution. That 's what the Yankees do.

Problem with starters? Drain the farm so you can get whoever's available. When he doesn't work out? Send him to the bullpen, and find someone else. Spend, relocate, purge young talent.

The Yankee's are every panic bird's dream team. Because they'll actually trade or bench players who aren't doing well at the moment. They usually get burned from it as well. Especially when they traded their last decent prospects to Arizona to get Randy Johnson (Brad Halsey, Dioner Navarro).

The Fact of the matter is that the Angels have beaten the Yanks the last 6 out of 7 games at Yankee stadium, and that will keep my Halo lit all year long...
